Ballet, Yoga, & Pilates inspired workout! Toning, lifting movement that utilizes the ballet barre, props, & light weights with high repetitions for a full body burn. We focus on posture, core strength, and grace throughout this creative, fun class. Bare feet or grip socks allowed. All levels welcome!

Flow Yoga

The perfect class for those looking for a flowing sequence of movement that will both stretch and strengthen the body. We'll begin by tuning into the body & breath, challenge ourselves & flow through class, and end with time for deep relaxation.

Gentle Yoga

This is a great place to begin if you are new to yoga, would like a slow, grounded flow, and/or are looking for stress and tension relief through movement. We will be working mostly from the floor with minimal or no standing postures. There will be challenging, strength building postures, as well as deep stretching & relaxation. Aspects of yin and restorative may be included. All levels welcome.

Yin Blend

Yin blend is a combination of yin and Forrest styles of yoga. Poses are held for longer periods of time (3-10 min) with an intentional focus on addressing injuries, ailments, and pain. Props are used in order to bring the ground up to meet you where you are in your practice and allow for deeper relaxation. Breathwork is used to calm the nervous system, and help quiet the mind. Hands on adjustments are offered to help relax muscles, clear energetic blockages, and/or help bring awareness to a specific area of the body. You'll leave feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Great for any fitness level.

Gentle Barre

Gentle Barre is a slow-paced, low-impact class inspired by traditional barre movements with lighter repetitions and mindful transitions. This class focuses on building strength, improving posture, and cultivating graceful, controlled movement. Perfect for beginners, those seeking a gentler workout, or anyone wanting to move with intention while still feeling strong and supported.

Slow Flow Yoga

Class begins nice and slow, grounding on our mats and connecting breath with movement. As we move through the practice, we gradually build heat through a series of standing sequences, allowing the body to strengthen and stretch at a comfortable pace.

This class is a perfect step up from gentle yoga, offering a mindful flow that is still slow and accessible. Expect a balanced practice that allows you to build strength while maintaining a calm, focused energy.

All levels welcome!

Sculpt Yoga

Stretch and sculpt your body with the use of hand weights & props. Intentional movement yoga class where you will work up a sweat. For those looking for a burn while creating flexibility in the body.

Restorative Yoga

For those seeking deep relaxation and restoration of the body, mind, and soul. We will be using bolsters, blocks, and blankets to support the body in gentle postures held for 3-10 minutes. By holding these postures for long periods of time you allow yourself to find deep relaxation which assists in; improving your breathing & flexibility, managing stress & pain, supporting your immune & nervous systems, sleeping & sleep quality, and much more. Beneficial for all levels, from the brand new beginner to the advanced athlete.

Barrelates blends the best of Pilates and barre into a beginner-friendly, full-body workout. Expect a strong core focus, high-rep barre burn, and low-impact movements that sculpt, strengthen, and lengthen from head to toe. Perfect for all levels!

Yoga hikes are located in Three Rivers. We will have a 60 minute yoga flow class in a beautiful natural setting, spend time creative art journaling, & hike 2-5 miles total depending on the specific trail.

Intro to Yoga Series

Whether you're new to yoga or want to strengthen your understanding of the practice, this Intro to Yoga Series is designed to help you feel more confident, comfortable, and supported in your yoga journey.

  • Over the duration of the series, we'll explore foundational poses, sun salutations, and modifications step-by-step. We'll break down the different props offered at the studio and how to use them to support your body. We will also explore breathwork techniques to help you feel grounded and present.

  • You are welcome as you are! No experience required. There will be plenty of time for questions, to explore the poses in your own body, and build community within the class.

Week 1- Foundational Poses

Focus on basic poses you can expect to find in many yoga classes, modifications to fit your practice, the use of props with each pose, demonstrations of poses, and assistance with alignment.

Week 2- Finding your Inner Warrior

Continue to learn foundational poses with a focus on crescent and warrior poses. We will be breaking down the poses, offering modifications, explaining any props that can be used, demoing, and assisting with alignment. At the end of class you will be guided through a short warrior flow you can add to any home practice.

Week 3- A Salutation to the Sun and Moon

The most dynamic of the three. We'll explain what a 'vinyasa' is, break down and practice; sun salutation a, sun salutation b, and moon salutation. These are the basis of our 'Flow Yoga' class here at Sunflower Studio. Just like in previous weeks, we will address modifications, props, and alignment.

You can expect to leave this Intro to Yoga series with:

-An understanding of the foundational poses you will find in the majority of yoga classes

-Knowledge of modifications and props you can use to support your body in any class you attend

-An introduction to breathing techniques commonly used in yoga classes

-Confidence for stepping into a yoga class!

Yin Blend & Restorative

Her teaching style primarily focuses on managing pain and stress through intentional gentle movement, relaxation, and using the breath to calm the central nervous system. As a certified massage therapist, she gives students the option of hands on adjustments to enhance their practice.

JUSTINE

Flow Yoga & Sculpt Yoga

She's passionate about creating classes that leave you feeling grounded and ready to take on whatever life throws your way. Her teaching style blends mindful movement with strength-based training, helping students cultivate strength from the inside out.

Mama & Me Barre

Mama & Me Barre is a gentle yet strengthening class designed for moms who want to move, bond with baby, and be in community. Babies are welcome as they are; snuggled, worn in a baby carrier, playing on the floor. This class blends nourishing movement, posture-building strength, and graceful flow, all while honoring the rhythms of motherhood. Expect a warm, judgment-free space where you can build strength, connect with your baby, and be willing the other mom's who get it 🤍 Fussy babies, nursing, diaper changes are part of it!

🌞45 minute class with time afterwards to chat and hangout with other mom's or take off

✨Please arrive 10 minutes prior to class to get setup and settled in.

✨Bring:

-Water

-Baby carrier (if you and your baby have one/enjoy it)

-Your babies favorite toy, blankie, etc.

We'll have mats, props, & blankets for both mom and baby 🥰
